About me.

Thanks for visiting my blog, I’m so glad you’re here.

I was born and raised in the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Growing up, I split most of my time between the streets of MN and the woods of Northern Wisconsin. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Journalism and Mass Communications, I moved back to my hometown to kickstart a career.

When I’m not at work, I am dancing. What that means, in a nutshell, is this: vagabonding to new destinations, snagging tickets to see live music, treasure hunting through local antique stores, restoring old broken furniture and spending time with my four-legged friend, Arlo. If I’m not talking to myself, I’m usually talking to my dog.

The main purpose of this blog is self-expression. I’ve found writing is one of the best ways to embrace and make sense of the unfiltered version of myself. It’s like a self-help book, but not the traditional kind because as far as I know, the only person I am really here to help is me.

That being said, I am always looking for opportunities to learn new things about the world and the people in it. And although meeting new people and building meaningful connections often feel like second nature to me, I’ve found doing so is the best way to catch a break from the noise in my head.

Sound familiar? Drop me a line. Let’s build something great together.
